"Is Freeware a way to activate hidden assets in developing countries? The 18 kinds of freeware tracked in the National Freeware Product will lead to the first Global Freeware Index. Instead of providing unilateral growth benchmarks like the indices of the World Bank and World Economic Forum do, the Freeware Index has his focus on the three origins of economy: the commons, public goods and private gifts.

"In many countries the Freeware Product is five times higher than the official GNP and GNI. So the Global Freeware Index will be an econometric approach to compete with the mainstream indices of international organizations and to overcome the enduring conflict between profit and charity, affluence and poverty.

"Through discovering the universe of freeware underestimated sources in nature and social life appear in the portfolio of a new global asset management."
