From p. 2:
"In this paper, we build on some of the theoretical foundations of the latter to develop a model of voluntary environmental initiatives by tourism users of a natural common-pool resource (CPR), which are an increasingly relevant reality, according to empirical studies. Our primary interest is to model the changes in incentives to undertake environmental contributions by CPR-using tourism firms when an ecolabel is introduced, that is, when an institutional change based on the voluntary adherence of firms is implemented." |
