dc.description.abstract "This paper will examine citizen activity in service delivery, sketching an additional facet to the concept of participation. The bulk of the paper will rely on developing an institutional approach to understanding coproduction as an important mode of citizen participation. The model will then be subjected to an empirical test of citizen provisioning strategies. The data, based on services supplied in apartment complexes, was collected by the author and colleagues as a field experiment to understand the nature of institutional effects on coproduction." en_US
