"The focus of the study is to investigate the community managed systems that have evolved recently in the past few decades. The goals of the study are: i) identify and record traditional forest management systems and practices in regenerating degraded forests, ii) to assess the impact of protection and management on vegetation regeneration, iii) to estimate the NTFP and fuelwood extraction, and iv) to understand the implications of current practices for managing vegetation sustainably." |
