Abstract:	"This paper integrates the ideas and findings of four presentations in the section 'Community Successes' at the Nairobi NEPAD Regional Conference and those of the facilitated discussion sessions during the conference. The four presentations are also documented in the following chapters. We will focus here particularly on 'lessons learned' with respect to outscaling (more of the same) and upscaling (expansion to larger regions and higher levels of governance) of such successes."
