Abstract:	"This case study is about a traditional water harvesting structure constructed on a drain in Lava Ka Baas (LKB) village of Thanagazi block, Alwar district in Rajasthan. Ironically, while the battle was apparently fought to protect community rights over water resources, this study highlights the failure of strengthening community institutions, a must for ensuring equitable distribution of benefits."
