dc.description.abstract"Over the last decade several donors and NGOs (and more recently some developing country governments) have adopted a livelihoods approach to development. More recently, there have also been efforts to approach socio-economic development through the framework of human rights. Drawing on case studies of rights-based approaches to livelihood development, this paper briefly reviews the main features of these two approaches, and the possibility of integrating them."en_US
