dc.description.abstract"Indigenous landowners in both Australia and Papua New Guinea today enjoy a far greater level of participation in the development of their land than was the case a decade ago. The reasons for this enhanced participation in each case are different, but both situations have generated demands to better articulate between Anglo-Australian and Indigenous systems of natural resource control and management. This paper explores the way in which organizational forms, in particular representative bodies, are being used to bridge this gap."en_US
