"This article examines the impact of war and displacement on the seed systems of resource poor semi-subsistence farmers in north western Sierra Leone. Rice is the staple food crop grown by farmers in this region. It is cultivated both in upland, rain-fed areas and in inland valley swamps. This paper focuses on upland rice."
