dc.description.abstract"This working paper provides the preliminary results of the research involving local extractive communities in the Amazon forest. The aim is to assess the impact of the partnership between public and private actors in terms of socioeconomic development and environmental sustainability in a network of stakeholders and local extractives families that manage natural resources--seeds and fruits--as a Common Pool Resource (CPR). In order to achieve that, two field researches have been executed--January and March--within two different regions--Salvaterra and Bragança--in the state of Pará which is located in the North of Brazil. Both quantitative and qualitative data have been collected through surveys conducted among 190 families."en_US
