National Integrated Water Resources Management Dialogues: Experience from Central and Eastern Europe

Abstract

"The present publication summarizes experiences from National IWRM Dialogues in Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia and Ukraine, which were held in late 2006 and early 2007. In addition, the publication provides comprehensive information on results and outcomes of the dialogue initiative. It also gives an overview of most important water management issues including water governance, water pricing, river basin planning and others."
