Abstract

"This book is the Volume II of a four-volume collection entitled: 'The Change in Rural Society Mexicana. Are valued strategic resources.' Collection was coordinated by Armando Contreras, Roberto Diego and Bruno Lutz Paola Sesia. This collective work is the outcome of the Fourth Congress of the Mexican Association of Rural Studies (AMER), held in Morelia Michoacan from 20 to 23 June 2003. The Congress of the American is now the largest reunion of rural research, both in the number of researchers and institutions involved and the quality of the studies presented, which is a snapshot of current research on the Mexican and its actors. It is for this reason that the publication of this work, but appears four years later, is without a doubt the most recent complete and what is being studied in the Mexican countryside."
