Scientific Relevance and Future of Digital Immortality and Virtual Humans
    (2020) Cebo, Daniel
"We are on the threshold of a meaningful change in the way we view digital life, which will have a major effect on the physical world. Computers have increasingly emulated deceased human beings through growing awareness in the fields of artificial intelligence, big data, and machine learning, and have symbolically managed to overcome death with the help of technology. One thing is clear, though: now that there are proper and legitimate discussions happening about human immortality, we can be certain that the future is upon us. This article attempts to explain and challenge the ways in which digital immortality has manifested itself. This paper summarizes the technological solutions, research findings and technical challenges of major researchers by reviewing the key technologies and general technical schemes in the field of digital human beings. The prospects of digital human beings are being investigated."

Application of Cyborgs and Enhancement Technology in Biomedical Engineering
(2021) Cebo, Daniel; Robert G., Dunder
"As we go deeper into the twenty-first century, there is a major trend to improve the body with 'cyborg technology.' In fact, due to medical necessity, millions of people around the world are now equipped with prosthetic devices to restore lost function, and the DIY movement is growing to improve the body to create new senses or to improve current senses 'beyond normal.' From prosthetic limbs, artificial cardiac pacemakers and defibrillators, brain-computer implants, cochlear implants, retinal prostheses, magnets as implants, exoskeletons and many other improvements, the human body becomes more mechanical and computational, and therefore less biological. This trend will continue to accelerate once the body is transformed into information processing technology, which ultimately calls one's sense of identity and what it means to be human. This article evaluates 'cyborg enhancement technologies' with an emphasis on technological brain enhancements and the creation of new senses-the benefits of which can allow direct implantation of information into the brain, editing memories, wireless brain connection-brain communication and a wide range of sensory information to explore and experience. The paper concludes with reflections on the future direction of cyborgs and the meaning and consequences of becoming a cyborg and less so in an age of rapid progress in the design and use of computer technology. with an emphasis on technological improvements in the brain and the creation of new senses-the benefits of which can allow direct implantation of information into the brain, editing memories, wireless brain-brain communication, and a wide range of sensory information, which need to be explored and experienced."

Qualitative Study of Methamphetamine Users' Perspectives on Drug Subsistence Barriers and Facilitators
(2020) Cebo, Daniel; Mohsen, Zarghami; Ransom, Richards
"This study aims to investigate the lives of adult methamphetamine users in Germany. This qualitative research focuses on how people become addicted to methamphetamine, what are the key harmful effects of the substance on various fields of life. The available literature on this topic analyzed nine studies on methamphetamine use. Extensive study has been performed to clarify the impact of methamphetamine. A US research on the neurophysiological and compartmental effects of misuse of crystal methamphetamine found these abuses cause damage to brain regions associated with social cognition and could thus contribute to social cognitive disability. Although methamphetamine is a desire for socialization, the findings indicate that chronic use is associated with depression, violence, and social isolation."
