dc.description.abstract "This article introduces a web-based conceptual model of vegetation to facilitate an easy understanding of the processes that govern the development of dry savanna woodlands. The model is based on a simple table structure that can be interpreted by most web browsers, making it easily accessible. This latter consideration is important because the telecommunication link to most of the outlying areas in Namibia is weak. The model may be accessed by community-based natural resource managers to provide an overview of the complexity of the savanna woodland system." en_US
