dc.description.abstract "Large-scale data policies easily may have unplanned effects of 'homogeneity' on the available data supply. A narrowing of the scope of the data supply tailored to established research paradigms could limit the opportunities for unconventional, but also adventurous, new research directions with the risk of slowing down scientific progress. A systematic assessment of data portfolios not only on the aspects of quality, accessibility and sustainability, but diversity as well, could help to diminish this risk." en_US
