Abstract:	"The World Summit on Sustainable Development (WSSD) was a great success for the water sector. In particular, the adoption of the sanitation target – to complement the Millenium Development Goal (MDG) on water supply – is one of the important concrete outcomes. But the adoption of the target to develop Integrated Water Resources Management plans by 2005 is also a big step forward."
